REL 9 AUG 201
За
In reply to your letter of the 10th February last, No, 5667/1920, I am commanded by the Army Council to state, for the information of Viscount Milner, that they will raise no objection to the proposed use, for the purpose of erecting Government quarters, of an area of about 10 acres in King'e Park, Kowloon, subject to the War Department receiving credit in the Colonial Military Lands Account in proportion to the precise area taken up.
It is suggested that the credit be calculated at the rate of 12 cents per square foot, the rate agreed in the similar cage of land used as the site of a girls' school - vide compondence ending with your letter of the 17th July 1912, No. 20620/1912.
I an,
siz,
Your obedient Servant
Agreedy
Under Secretary of State,
Colonial Office.
